OUR MISSION
The ultimate goal of our federation is to put sticks in the hands of youth players. They are the engine of growth and the future of our sport — the ones who will go on to play on national teams, start clubs, and bring their friends into the game. To serve them well, we must be safe, inclusive, and affordable in everything we do.

To that end, the purpose of this administration is to professionalize the federation, hold ourselves accountable, and create the most fertile growth medium possible for floorball in the United States. We will answer the fundamental questions every newcomer asks: How do I start? Where do I play? Who else plays? How do I coach? How do I officiate? We will build the frameworks that develop players, referees, coaches, and clubs. And we will engage the international community as a responsible, contributing member of the IFF.

The camp will be hosted at the same venue as the WFCQ, the Brownstown Sports Center in Detroit. Check out their website here.

The goal of the camp will be twofold, a chance for players to show their skills for future national team selections but also to develop those skills. The details are being worked on but will include five on court floorball sessions (75 - 120 min each), theory and game analyses.

The camp will be run by dual head coach Joel Olofsson who will focus on shooting, passing and ball handling as well as game situations and tactics.

All players striving to play on either national team at future events are welcome so you must be a US citizen to participate.

We have chosen not to set an age limit but all training session will conducted as one group so you have to be able to play with adults to sign up. Feel free to reach out if you have any concerns.

We will accept sign ups up to the 5th of February.

The camp will cost $150 that will need to be paid by the 31st of January, or upon sign up if after that date, by PayPal to [email protected] and be marked with "USA Men/MU19 Trainingcamp Detroit". The cost covers the training sessions but does not include lodging, meals or travel.

The next Men's IFF event will be the World Floorball Championships Qualifier February 2020 and for the MU19 is it the World Floorball Championships in May 2019.

General questions about the camp email Men General Manager Adam Troy at [email protected], for question on the training sessions email Head Coach Joel Olofsson at [email protected].
