OUR MISSION

The ultimate goal of our federation is to put sticks in the hands of youth players. They are the engine of growth and the future of our sport — the ones who will go on to play on national teams, start clubs, and bring their friends into the game. To serve them well, we must be safe, inclusive, and affordable in everything we do.

To that end, the purpose of this administration is to professionalize the federation, hold ourselves accountable, and create the most fertile growth medium possible for floorball in the United States. We will answer the fundamental questions every newcomer asks: How do I start? Where do I play? Who else plays? How do I coach? How do I officiate? We will build the frameworks that develop players, referees, coaches, and clubs. And we will engage the international community as a responsible, contributing member of the IFF.

FloorballPlanet has announced the arrival of a new USA Hockey Salming floorball stick produced with unique USA Hockey logo and graphics.

- USA Hockey recognizes the cross training benefits of floorball and see it as a great way to develop not only stick skills but to develop game sense. We see floorball as a valuable complementary sport and recommend it as part of our American Development Model programming, says Ken Martel, USA Hockey Technical Director, ADM

- We are excited to be USA Hockey's partner for the next two years, continues FloorballPlanet co-founder and US Salming importer Darryl Gross.

USA Hockey's decision to implement floorball in its programs and use its name on a new floorball stick is proof that they recognize the wonderful synergies between hockey and floorball.

Salming Floorball products are available in the United States from www.floorballplanet.com and authorized dealers across the country.
